02 / WHY WE GATHER
OLD SOUL.
NEW ROOM.
“Maybe you find chemistry. Maybe you find your people. Either way, there was a reason we saved you a seat.”
The Eleventh Hour takes its spirit from Harlem's rent parties, where private homes became dance floors, music paid the bills and a crowded room could become a community.
The Eleventh Hour carries forward that belief in the possibility of the right people finding one another in the right room.
Our version is an intimate dinner series for curious people who want to meet in real life—whether they're looking for chemistry, friendship or simply a seat in a more interesting room. No fluorescent lighting, forced introductions or swipe-first energy.
Every table is intentionally mixed. Artists and accountants. Lifelong New Yorkers and recent arrivals. Friends of friends and beautiful strangers. The only requirement is curiosity.
Doors open at eight. At eleven, the room changes.
YOUR HOST / SIMONE
A New Yorker with a lifelong belief in good food, good music and the particular magic of a thoughtfully chosen room. Her parents met at a rent party. The Eleventh Hour is her way of setting the table again—for friendship, chemistry and whatever happens after eleven.
